Saturday November 15th
Sue Brayne and Jane Saunderson
Your shadow or dark side is a combination of what you unconsciously choose to deny about yourself and your unique potential that is waiting to be discovered. Carl Jung said of the shadow side, ‘Everyone carries a shadow, and the less it is embodied in the individual’s conscious life, the blacker and denser it is.’
Although you can never be free of your shadow – it is there to challenge you to grow – you can engage with it and learn from it. This one day workshop is an opportunity to discover how your unconscious behaviours, patterns, traits, and beliefs impact your life. This will help you to understand more about who you really are, how to create healthier relationships, and how to find meaning in your life.
This is a very interactive day, and will suit anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of themselves
Sue is a psychotherapist and the author of The D-Word: Talking about Dying and Sex, Meaning and the Menopause. She is also a workshop leader specialising in spirituality, aging, and end-of-life issues.
